Why are Angular Material styles not displayed correctly after the update from version 16 to...

Following the recent Angular update, we've encountered several issues with the display of Angular Material components. Specifically, components like mat-form-field, tooltips, mat-tab, and buttons are no longer rendering as they did prior to the update. The appearance of these elements has significantly changed and does not align with how they were displayed before the update. For instance, the mat-form-field elements, which previously displayed correctly and were styled consistently, now appear misaligned and improperly styled. The attached images illustrate the contrast between the previous correct display and the current issues we are facing.
