why and why not should not use standalone componenets? [closed]

I have just started building an application in angular 19 where all the components I have already tried to create standalone by default ,now the question is what is the point of having standalone components when we can not reuse the code and the application's architecture can get complex in the future? for now I have let the components be standalone. I was wondering if I should not do that because I have to import every module separately for every component ...does it cause any load or issue?
