I am struggling to understand the best way to implement nested calls to a API, using forkJoin (without using nested observables). I have three APIs: API to create student (/student/) API to add student grades (/student/grade/) API to add a student class (/student/class/) I am hoping to: First call the student API to create the student Call the student grade API (multiple times) to add their grades Call the student class API (multiple times) to add their classes [student API] |-> [student grade API] |-> [student class API] The call to the student API needs to be executed before subsequent calls to grade and class APIs. I want to use forkjoin to call the grades and classes APIs. I am able to do what I need using nested observables, but understand this isn't best practice and would like to implement forkJoin, but not sure how. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards, Ben. Continue reading...
