[Python] Why is parent not implemented as a property in pyside6?

I noticed a rather profound difference between PyQt and PySide, namely that certain PyQt properties, such as QObject.parent are only implemented as methods in PySide, so one has to use QObject.parent().

I'd be interested in motivation and pros/cons of this design choice.
