    import mediapipe as mp

    Running just this line in my python project, crashes my audio drivers.

    I always noticed a slight pause in music/audio while my program was starting up, and recently noticed that directly after this pause my input/output devices for calls get disconnected, and I essentially go deaf and mute.

    I narrowed my code down to this one line while finding what causes this, and removing it fixes the issue, however I'm planning to create an app using mediapipe, and removing it isn't an option.

    What I've tried:

    I tried using pip update, to make sure I had the latest version, but didn't find any changes.

    I then tried moving the mediapipe files directly into my project (as i was importing from my python packages, but also no changed.

    I also tried packaging it all into an exe with pyinstaller (as the finished project will be), hoping that maybe it might not occur then, but still no fix.

    I wasn't too sure what to do or what could be causing this, so these attempts at fixes were shots in the dark.

    Is this a known issue or does anyone know what could fix this?
