According to Python, Python is greater than Java, Fortran and C++.

True
>>> 'python' > 'fortran'
True
>>> 'python' > 'c++'
True


Python is also greater than cats, avocados and cheese, but less than sandwiches and turnips.

>>> 'python' > 'cats'
True
>>> 'python' > 'sandwiches'

Python is greater than gandalf, bombadil and galadriel, but not sauron.

Python is not greater than trees but it is greater than a forest.
