[Python] Vscode Pylance can't control+click to import statements in function definitions

I can control click to normal import statements:

from splatter_infrastructure import test #can control+click


But for import statements in function definitions, it infinitely loads, never resolving:

def test_import():
from splatter_infrastructure import test #can't control+click


This appears to be a bug, anyone know the fix?
