I inherited a project in VS Code using Python in a Windows Environment. Using Docker and GitHub. Basically, code is brought down into VS Code from GitHub. Using the docker container to allow me to test - I believe. VS Coder updates GitHub on a push which then updates an AWS Lambda. All of this is new to me and it is failing since Monday. This is one of several questions I will have about this project. One of the first errors I am getting has to do with establishing a tunnel I believe is with AWS. The IP address in the host configuration is an address in their range. When I run the code in BASH to establish the tunnel I get the following: I have tried to ping the IP Address of the host in the connection string and I am not getting a response. Ran TraceRT and pings stop after it leaves my ISP network. In the AWS site, I am not finding the IP Address. I wanted to confirm if it maybe changed. AWS recently changed the Boto3 which broke the code so dynamically changing an IP address is not beyond reason in my mind. There are like a million places in AWS where it can hide and I am not finding it anywhere. I see a lot of comments on VS Code and host files and this error but I was unable to find something on coder with the AWS Host in simple terms. Saying Check AWS didn't really help. Can someone point me in a good direction for testing with AWS host? Continue reading...
