Computer vision project that aims to detect and analyze the movement of some objects. Making a GUI in Pyside6 but I have problems with live stream of video to a QLabel widget, keeps falling to ~1fps even when set to 60fps (compatible). Any tips, video where to get info, github repo, possible resolution or idea to try (idea or code) on how to stream a video from camera (Windows 10/11 --> uni operative system on that lab) to the caller, frame by frame to add to a Qt widget (Python, Pyside6). Should I make a only OpenCV based app to record and store the path to further analyse and wire to the GUI? Is there any possible windows blocking definition that makes it fall back to low fps and even not recording (only black) with the LED indicator on? Looking just for guidance, as I'm working on the same issue for about 2 days. Thanks in advance. Continue reading...
