[Python] Renaming the unit in a netcdf

    So i want to rename "m" into millimeters. I used xarray.Dataset.rename and its variations for other renaming but as far as i can see it is only able to rename "GRIB_units" and "units".

    Is there a way to rename the Unit type with xarray.Dataset.rename or one of his variations or do i need something different?

    The Unit type is saved as followed:

    GRIB_units = "m";

    units = "m";
