Thanks to the good time implementation under Linux (under Windows the timing is quite bad bc of the implementation of the library) I could verify, that short term presicion is ok (not perfect, up to 3/10 of a beat of). I am now looking for a way to ensure, that the metronome does what it is supposed to do for a longer peroid of time (up to several hours). I thought maybe I could send the Midi output to another running application on my pc, that shows me, how fast the received Midi clock is running, but I haven't found any such software yet. Any help is appreciated Continue reading...
