I am building a panda3d application and I am trying to use polars as a faster replacement for pandas. Everything works fine when running the application in my python environment. However, if I try to build an executable for Windows the build is successful but it would fail at runtime with the error saying that PySeries does not exist and the warning that Polars binary is missing. I can see the polars.polars.pyd in my build directory so it is there, however import polars does not find the binary. Is this a known polars issue? is there a solution for this? def use_polars(): """Ensure Polars can find its binary components""" try: import polars # Force initialization of Polars internals polars.DataFrame({'test': [1]}) # Simple test to trigger binary loading print("Success finding and initializing polars Series") except Exception as e: print(f"Warning: Polars initialization issue: {e}") print("trace") print(traceback.format_exc()) print("trace") traceback.print_exc() print("trace end") Error: zoneinfo._tzpath:44: InvalidTZPathWarning: Invalid paths specified in PYTHONTZPATH environment variable.
