I am setting up a new Python project on Windows and am running into a strange issue. I need to use the crewai-tools library, but my Python environment can't seem to see its contents.

    My Environment:

    • OS: Windows
    • Python Version: 3.13

    Steps I have taken:

    1. I ran python -m pip install --upgrade crewai crewai-tools google-generativeai langchain-google-genai. The installation completes and says "Successfully installed..."
    2. To verify the installation, I run the command python -c "import crewai_tools; help(crewai_tools)" in my terminal.

The Problem: The expected output is a help page listing the contents of the package (like FileReadTool, etc.). Instead, the actual output shows that PACKAGE CONTENTS is blank:

    Help on package crewai_tools:
    NAME
    crewai_tools
    PACKAGE CONTENTS
    FILE
    c:\users\nam\appdata\local\programs\python\python313\lib\site-packages\crewai_tools\__init__.py

This causes an ImportError when I try to import any tool from the library in my code.

Why would a successful pip installation result in an empty package? What can I do to diagnose and fix this? Thank you!
