[Python] Perform two tailed, paired t-test in python

I have got two datasets hCO_exp_filter[transcript] and esc_exp_filter[transcript] look like this:

[('NM_001376', ['DYNC1H1', 35821, 10.4])]

I need to perform a two tailed, paired t-test on the last column of the data. During this process I have encountered this error:

TypeError: '<' not supported between instances of 'Ttest_indResult' and 'float'

Wondering how to fix this. Or is there any better way to do this by using python?

from scipy.stats import ttest_ind

ttest_ind(hCO_exp_filter[transcript][2], esc_exp_filter[transcript][2]) < 0.05:
