[Python] not getting a list of excel files from glob in python [closed]

    folder = r"G:\Shared drives\MSS Shared Drive (Center PMO-FIN-DM)\01. PMO-FIN-DM Projects\2025 Bill McGinn Handover\Hiring Dashboard\HR Report\Data FY23\New Format"
    pattern = os.path.join(folder, "*.xlsx")
    print(folder)
    print(pattern)
    file_list = glob.glob(pattern)
    print(file_list)


    from my Python code i would expect to get a list of all the excel files in the given folder
