I am looking for a way to programmatically identify and name edges in a CAD model (ideally in .step format), preferably using python. Ideally, the logic to identify and name the edges would be based on the name of the faces. My best bet is to use pythonocc to open, read and modify the file. I have tried mainly using the TopExp_Explorer but I haven't achieved my goal or any intermediate ones apart from opening the file. Any help or hint would be appreciated to: List the faces and their names Identify edges connected to a face Name the edges Alternatively, if someone can point me in the right direction in the documentation that would be helpful as well.
