    I'm trying to run the following installation from a jupyter kernel: pip install evaluate The installation fails with the following message:

    running build_ext

    From the kernel, I ran pip install --upgrade cmake and it successfully installed. However, the pip install evaluate command still fails with the same message. I also ran the following code to add cmake location to the path, but to no avail:

    import sys
    sys.path.append("/home/tammosta/.local/share/mise/installs/python/3.12.10/bin/cmake")

    Can anyone please help me debug this? Thanks Note: from the jupyter kernel, I can successfully run from cmake import cmake . I don't know why the pip install evaluate command is not running.
