I explored ways of implementing “Knowledge management based on bookmarks completed by notes and extracts of web pages”.

I’m very focused on the **Scrapyard** addon of Firefox, although it is designed with notes stored on the user’s (*) device.
This is not a bad point for working, but I have to serve this on the WWWeb: on Flask, or at least at Pythonanywhere.

Infos from Scrapyard say that the **Seafile** fileserever is the best way to serve scrapyard content.

Seafile is an open-source, cross-platform file-hosting software system. Files are stored on a central server and can be synchronized with personal computers and mobile devices through apps. Files on the Seafile server can also be accessed directly via the server's web interface. Seafile's functionality is similar to other popular file hosting services such as Dropbox and Google Drive. The primary difference between Seafile and Dropbox/Google Drive is that Seafile is a self-hosted file sharing solution for private cloud applications.

There is a **Seafile python SDK** (Pypi) , visible also here : https://github.com/haiwen/python-seafile
On google search, there is nothing about Flask , coupled to Seafile.

    **Question:**

    • Is it possible to install such **Seafile** SDK on a **Flask appserver**?
    • Is it **meaningfull**? Do you think I better manage straight with plain flask server and batch convert upload of scrapyard files (Json-Html format)

    • Is there **another Python piece of software** better dedicated/fittable for my purpose?

    Thanks on forward
