I am analyzing my numpy/python code by running it with "-m cProfile". Snakeviz shows as the entry with most time spent: 20895038 calls to ufunc_api.py:173(__call__) with the majority of the execution time (tottime) spent there. ufunc obviously refers to https://numpy.org/doc/stable/reference/ufuncs.html What causes this call and how can I hunt it down? Unfortunately neither snakeviz nor gprof2dot show the parent code calling it. Possibly because I am using jax and numba in some parts of the code. Continue reading...
