I'm currently trying to connect to the Mollybet API using credentials provided by BetInAsia for their BLACK platform (Mollybet-based). I was given a username and password along with a link to the official Mollybet API documentation.

✅ My goal: I want to retrieve real-time odds from both Pinnacle and OrbitX (Betfair clone), using Mollybet’s API to power a value betting system.

What I’ve tried so far: Language: Python

Auth method: Basic Auth using requests.post()

    Environment: .env file for credentials

    Endpoint used for login:

    https://api.mollybet.com/login

    I also tried:

    https://api.mollybet.com/v1/login

    404 Client Error: Not Found

My question(s): Is https://api.mollybet.com/login the correct endpoint for BetInAsia BLACK accounts using Mollybet's API?

Does the BLACK API require IP whitelisting, extra headers, or an API key in addition to username/password?

Is it possible that my account credentials only work for the BLACK web portal and not for direct API access?

Context: I already contacted BetInAsia support again to confirm whether my account is fully API-enabled.

I’m using the official credentials they provided, and nothing seems to work, which makes me think my account is not properly activated for API access or I’m missing a key detail.

Any advice or confirmation from someone who's used the Mollybet API via BetInAsia would be massively helpful.

    Thanks!
