I have a somewhat ambitious project idea. Custom printer. But I cannot for the love of god find a way to emulate an ipp printer in python. No, this is not a dupe. My first goal is to create a python program, that acts like a printer, and saves the .ps files to a location. I found a github repo called ipp-server. But when I cloned it, the ps files that the printer saves are corrupted. I get the error below when using ps2pdf: lizard@lizard ~/Repos/ipp-server $ ps2pdf ipp-server-print-job-a438a8da-e7d5-11ef-8000-acd1b80ec2ab.ps Error: /undefined in 3SaR Operand stack: Execution stack: %interp_exit .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- false 1 %stopped_push 1974 1 3 %oparray_pop 1973 1 3 %oparray_pop 1961 1 3 %oparray_pop 1817 1 3 %oparray_pop --nostringval-- %errorexec_pop .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- Dictionary stack: --dict:766/1123(ro)(G)-- --dict:0/20(G)-- --dict:75/200(L)-- Current allocation mode is local Current file position is 5 GPL Ghostscript 9.56.1: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1 Continue reading...
