[Python] installing faultier glitcher tool ubuntu errors

I am currently trying to install a opensource glitch tool.

i installed a fresh install of unbuntu 24.04 , created a env called faultier which uses a forked openocd / juypter notebook and python and pip3 installed the faultier located on pyi.org. everything installed as of today is the most to date i can find.

when i run in python

import faultier this runs fine no errors when i run ft = faultier.Faultier()

it produces this error.

i have tried accessing openocd but it produces this error.

the faultier usb is being detected when i lsusb and check to ensure it is there.

now my linux experience of over 20 years very rusty and don't know what to do or how to fix this error, its more then likely that this will not be the last but this error isn't helping, if i can have some direction to fix this error would be great.

i have tried tried installing openocd through pip3, and also installing openocd via github, im not sure if its even working as it produces the above error. also installed , python , juypter , pip3 , python3 , brew ( not sure i need that yet), pypi.org faultier depository.
