I keep getting this error when I'm trying to run a basic Python for loop that we did in class

x = int(input("how many times do I have to tell you? "))

for i in range(x):
print("CLEAN UP OUR ROOM!")


I have already tried to reinstall vs code reinstall python used the .net repair tool and also did a sfc scan of my PC
