I am a college student, and i want to train a simple ai model just for fun. It can just be as simple as plotting several dots and estimating the function corresponding to the graph.

I have the knowledge basis of programming and computer hardware. I am just confused with what are the steps to build a simple ai model so that it can train input data and output what it learns. I heard that Python is the language for AI. What should I do after setting Python environment? Is there an AI template for me to use on a certain website? I searched on Youtube, but there aren't a lot of useful messages about training an ai model from scratch. I'll be thankful if you could provide me with some advise.
