[Python] I have a question for working with python programs from the command line interface on...

I have recently configured my computer to run python programs from the command prompt terminal. I was able to get the python programs to run using input from a file (as shown)

python testing.py < input.txt


I was wondering if there was a way to get the output from this program to write to a file.

I tried using this method, but nothing happened.

python testing.py < input.txt > output.txt
