[Python] I cant find a way to make my python print statement delete itself after a few seconds

I am trying to make a text based adventure game and I want to be able to have text self delete itself. As an example, The game will use the print() statement to print the text and then after 5 seconds the text would then be deleted or hidden from the player.

Ive tried to find other peoples questions relating to this problem and I cant find any info. I dont know what commands to use or anything related to that, please help.
