“I am trying to use PuTTY to view the output from my Acconeer XM125 radar sensor. I have followed all the setup steps correctly: I installed the USB driver, confirmed the COM port in Device Manager, set the correct serial settings in PuTTY (baud rate 115200, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity, no flow control), and connected the sensor after flashing the firmware using the Acconeer Exploration Tool. However, when I open PuTTY and connect to the sensor, the window remains completely blank. Even after pressing Enter multiple times, I do not see the acc> prompt, nor can I type or receive any output from the device. I also tried reconnecting the sensor, changing USB cables, and verifying the COM port again, but the issue persists. Since the Exploration Tool also shows an ‘RSVP timeout’ error, I suspect the sensor may not be running the application firmware correctly.
