I am trying to install pystan on Mac and seem to have run into the classic "failed to build wheel error". I have Xcode, Mac OS 14.4.1 (23E224), working on a Conda environment, with python 3.12.3. I have tried pip install pystan, pipx install pystan, and conda install pystan. With the conda command, it looks like it succeeded, but when popping into python, running import pystan, I get an import error. I know pystan requires a compiler, but I was under the impression I had that when I installed Xcode. I have tried the answer on this site, but in the second step of installing httpstan, I get /opt/homebrew/opt/python@3.13/bin/python3.13: No module named httpstan.__main__; 'httpstan' is a package and cannot be directly executed If anybody could lend a hand and help me install pystan that would be great!
