How can I throttle API requests in Python’s asyncio so that no more than 5 requests are sent per second, while still processing results as soon as they arrive?

I’m working with an asynchronous HTTP client (e.g., aiohttp) to fetch data from an API that has a limit of 5 requests per second. I want to avoid hitting the rate limit, but I also want to start processing responses immediately without waiting for all requests to finish.

I’ve seen examples using asyncio.Semaphore for concurrency limits, but that doesn’t handle rate limiting per second. How can I implement this correctly without adding unnecessary delays?
