I’m working on a project to build a digital stethoscope that uses two low-cost microphones for real-time heart sound monitoring with noise cancellation. The setup is as follows:

Microphone 1 is placed inside the chest piece (stethoscope head) to pick up both the heart sound and ambient noise. Microphone 2 is placed outside, near the chest piece, to capture only the ambient noise. The goal is to filter out the ambient noise from Microphone 1's signal in real-time, allowing the doctor to hear a clearer heart sound.

I’m looking for advice on how to approach the noise cancellation:

    1. What algorithms or techniques would be suitable for real-time adaptive noise cancellation in this scenario?
    2. Are there any libraries (Python, MATLAB, or others) that could be used for this purpose?
    3. How can I synchronize the signals from both microphones effectively to ensure accurate noise cancellation?

Any suggestions or references to similar projects would be highly appreciated. Thank you!
