[Python] How much time would my project about predicting the path of wildfire smoke using...

Me and my team are completely new to this python course where its everyone's first time using python. We're given a project to use python and its different libraries to "Detect the route/path of wildfire smoke using deep & machine learning. My first question is how long is this going to take if we use the simplest methods as we're completely amateurs? The time we're given is like 2 months or maybe 2.5 months. My second question is can someone guide us what steps we have to take and how's this project actually gonna work?
