I need to convert JSON files into GEOJSON files for a GIS project I am working on. I don't quite understand how to convert JSON into GEOJSON. My first attempt was to simply use Claude to prompt engineer a script that converts the files. I tried this a lot with different prompts and adjusted some of the code manually. Didn't work. My second attempt was to manually write out the JSON data but in a GEOJSON format, then use an online tool to convert the JSON into GEOJSON. It said I need a WKT column, which I added, but it didn't work. My third and final attempt was to read documentation and look for a tool that already exists, I found jq, and instructions on how to make use docker terminal to convert the files.
