When I build from source in Windows:

    1. The installation folder is missing its DLL folder
    2. Some modules like pyinstaller can be installed with pip, but my python installation cannot see them. However a module like setuptools can be installed with pip, and viewed in my python installation.
    3. I don't know how to get PCbuild/build.bat to write to a custom installation location on Windows. I have heard that it is a possibility in Linux, but no matter how I search, I cannot find an answer for this in Windows.

I need the DLL folder because I'm currently interfacing with some firmware that has really specific requirements. Me modifying that firmware is not an option.

Is there a way for me to create an installation that exactly resembles the installation created by the installer from https://www.python.org/downloads by building from source in Windows? The reason I'm compiling from source is that the python installer will not allow me to perform a second installation of an identical python version (I need to do this to keep the requirements for the various programs separate. I cannot use VENVs because the programs I'm testing out just don't work with them, I've tried and they only work if it's a full python installation like the one from https://www.python.org/downloads).
