I am supporting some vs-code users with moderate python skills. I would like to enable them to be able to access the vs-code API from python. This could be to perform tasks including: string find/replace in current editor access the full text content of the current editor, transform it, push the new version back access some vs-code commands that are created in a custom vs-code extension I was expecting this to be quite straightforward, but it is starting to look impossible.
