[Python] How can I render a React (Vite) component like Dashboard.jsx from my FastAPI backend...

I have a React (Vite) frontend and a FastAPI backend. I want to protect /dashboard so that unauthenticated users cannot load or even download the Dashboard.jsx component.

    My idea was:

Don’t include Dashboard.jsx in the Vite client bundle

After the user authenticates, the frontend calls FastAPI at http://localhost:8000/dashboard

    FastAPI checks the token

If valid, FastAPI should return the rendered Dashboard.jsx so the client never receives the file unless authenticated

But this doesn’t work, because FastAPI cannot send JSX in a form that React can render. React on the browser can only hydrate HTML generated by a real SSR renderer, and JSX itself can’t be executed directly.

    My question:

Is it actually possible to render a specific React component (like Dashboard.jsx) on the server using FastAPI and completely prevent the client from receiving that component in the client bundle?

If yes → what architecture supports this?

If no → what is the correct alternative to protect /dashboard without sending the Dashboard component to the client?
