[Python] Has anyone been able to get Python 3.12 to run corrrectly in Google Colab?

I am trying to get Google Colab running with Python 3.12.

I can get !python -V to show Version 3.12.

But once I am performing an import, I get an error on :

/usr/local/lib/python3.11/dist-packages/IPython/core/interactiveshell.py running, which indicates that Python 3.11 is running the interactive shell.

When I try to reinstall IPython with Python 3.12, Colab crashes, so I can't upgrade to use the Python 3.12 interactive shell.
