    Hello,

I'm looking for a way to extract data directly from the Security.evt file without having to open EventViewer and generate a file for later manipulation.

The idea is to create a self-updating page or file that is easily accessed by the average user. It would be an audit of screen locks and unlocks.

I can't use PowerShell scripts because group policies block it. And I need to extract this from each computer on the network.

I thought about using Python, but I don't know where to start. I tried opening the .evt with an IDE but without success.

I thought about the possibility of transforming this event into an environment variable, but I didn't find anything that could be tested.

The two events that need to be extracted are 4800 and 4801.

If you could at least give me a direction to start researching the subject, it would help me a lot.
