What is the best algorithm to find the time offset between two numpy large arrays that consists of timestamps of events? I'm trying to histogram them and then use the signal.correlate method but the resoultion is limited. I'm trying to start with a huge bin width so I get a rough estimate and then iterate the process by focusing around the time offset value I get in the previous step.
