I am currently a student in Mathematics so I don´t have that much of an experience on programming and coding, the only thing I used for a time was (basic) Python.

However, I became interested in the article of Rodin Sullivan where they initiate with a bounded region on the plane and then they fill the region with regular hexagonal packings and send this circle packing to one on the unit open disc, whose border circles are tangent to the unit circle.

I would really like to have a program which does exactly this, accepting any region I draw and so that i can input the radii of the circles in the hexagonal packing.

Nevertheless, I am having a hard time finding this... can anyone help me in this regard?

I would really appreciate it, thanks in advance.

I have tried the software from the link https://www.circlepack.com/software.html but I think it is a bit outdated and could not run l on my computer.

I also did implement an algorithm on python to draw circle packings from my input, only the part to "project" it to the unit disc is misssing.
