[Python] Can't install Anaconda 2024.10-1 on Windows 10: "Failed to link extracted packages"...

I'm trying to install Anaconda3 2024.10-1 (64-bit) on my Windows system, but I keep getting this error during setup:

⚠️ Failed to link extracted packages to C:\Anaconda!

I've tried the following steps to resolve it:

• 
  Ensured I have plenty of disk space
  
  
• 
  Disabled antivirus/firewall completely during install
  
  
• 
  Deleted previous Python/Anaconda installations
  
  
• 
  Tried both the latest version and older versions of Anaconda
  
  
• 
  Tried changing the installation directory (not just C:\Anaconda)
  
  
• 
  Ran the installer as administrator
  
  
• 
  Attempted multiple fresh reinstalls
  
  
• 
  Also tried in miniconda have same problem.

System Info:

-Windows 11 (64-bit)

-Installing as administrator

-No proxy or VPN

-Not using Miniconda separately
