I was a great fan of the old Atom editor and its Hydrogen extension to show the output in or below the the executed line like this The full example can be seen here Unfortunately, the atom editor is not supported anymore. Do you know any code editor (or any extension to e.g. vs-code) that is still supported and has a similar feature? The idea is not just to execute a single line (or a cell, or a jupyter notebook) and to see it in the panel on the right (like in vs-code) but to keep the focus on the editor. Continue reading...
