I’m running automated tests using Appium, ADB, and Python, with multiple Android Studio AVDs. When I run four AVDs simultaneously, one of them occasionally crashes with this error in Windows Event Viewer:

    Windows Event Viewer Error

    Windows Event Viewer after error

There are no errors in the Appium logs or in the emulator logs—only in the Event Viewer.

This issue is not tied to a specific AVD: it has happened across all of them.

    Emulator Launch Command

I start each AVD with the following command:

    self.emulator_path,
    '-avd', self.device_name,
    '-port', str(self.emulator_port),
    '-no-snapshot-load',
    '-no-snapshot-save',
    '-no-boot-anim',
    '-gpu', 'off',
    '-memory', '8192',
    '-cores', '2',
    '-timezone', 'America/Sao_Paulo',
    '-no-audio',
    ]```

    Environment

    Host machine: Bare Metal

    CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7900 (12 cores / 24 threads)

    RAM: 128 GB

OS: Windows Server 2022 Standard, Version 21H2

    **What I’ve Tried**

I’ve applied every fix I could find online, but none worked, including:

    - Disabling Hyper-V
    - Disabling DEP
    - Turning off Windows Security
    - Running sfc /scannow
    - Several other tweaks I can’t fully recall
