I developed an Angular app that consumes an API and performs CRUD operations. It runs fine locally over HTTPS using self-signed certificates I generated (I have generated ssl-cert.crt and ssl-key.key with openssl) with the command: ng serve --ssl true --ssl-key "ssl-key.key" --ssl-cert "ssl-cert.crt" However, after building the app with ng build and deploying it to Azure Web Apps, I get this error: Error: write EPROTO 274560:error:100000f7:SSL routines:OPENSSL_internal:WRONG_VERSION_NUMBER:....\third_party\boringssl\src\ssl\tls_record.cc:224: I believe it's SSL-related, but I'm unsure if the issue is with the local certificates, the deployment process, or Azure’s SSL handling. Does Azure Web Apps manage SSL automatically, or should I configure something manually for HTTPS to work correctly in production? Thanks in advance for your help. Continue reading...
