Ionic/angular/firebase Realtime DB WebSocket connection to '<URL>' failed: WebSocket is closed...

I'm experiencing the following issue:

The Firebase Realtime Database connects without any problems on the first load. However, if the network connection is lost for a while and then restored, the app fails to reconnect properly. A WebSocket error appears, and the only way to recover is by clearing all cookies and fully restarting the app.

I'm using Angular 18, AngularFire 18, and TypeScript, with the Firebase Realtime Database.

How can I ensure a stable reconnection after network interruptions?
