How to set a max-height with overflow-y to a Kendo grid row in angular

I have set a height value to the rows in my kendo grid:

.k-table-row {
height: 60px;
}


but adding a max-height and overflow-y to this doesn't do anything:

.k-table-row {
height: 60px;
max-height: 100px;
overflow-y: auto;
}


My grid still looks like this:



How do I correctly set the max-height for my rows?
