I am writing a custom dropdown and trying to get my items to render using the below snippet: <dropdown-panel #dropdown> @for (item of data; track item.value) { <div (click)="select('{{item.value}}','{{item.description}}')" class="dropdown-item">{{item.description}}</div> } </dropdown-panel> The problem is that binding is not processing my nested binding statements inside that click event. The main div content binding works and the browser shows the right description values. When I click the selected one however, my select statement is getting {item.value}} as the value.
