How can I integrate an Angular 8+ single-page application with WordPress as a backend?

  1. I want to build a single-page website using Angular 8+ for the frontend and WordPress as the backend.

    Most tutorials I’ve found cover React or AngularJS, but not modern Angular. I understand that I can fetch data from WordPress using the REST API, for example:

    this.http.get('https://example.com/wp-json/wp/v2/posts')
    .subscribe(posts => console.log(posts));

    This works for fetching posts, but I’m still unclear on the bigger picture:

    If I set up my Angular project locally, how do I actually deploy or integrate it with WordPress?

    Should Angular be built as a completely separate SPA and consume WordPress only as a headless CMS?

    Or is there a way to host Angular inside WordPress (e.g., as a theme or plugin)?

    I can fetch posts via the REST API.

    Looked at examples for React headless WordPress, but not sure how to adapt them for Angular.

    What is the recommended way to use Angular 8+ with WordPress as a backend? Should I treat WordPress as a headless CMS and host Angular separately or can Angular be bundled directly inside a WordPress theme/plugin?
