Fabric.JS Angular how can i remove the overlapping (stacking) when objects have opacity 0.5

Things i've tried: -So i've tried creating another canvas on top of it and setting that one to 0.5 but that didnt work. -Tried every each of the globalCompositeOperation options, that also didn't work. -Tried drawing with opacity: 1 + group with opacity: 0.5 I want to draw many shapes, each with transparency, and not see stacking where they overlap — like painting with a soft brush, where everything looks like a smooth mask, not a pile of stacked layers.
