I've got an angular project that uses ESRI and the JavaScript SDK. The Sketch widget is displaying the 'docked' behavior when its 'toolbarKind' property is actually set to 'floating'. We set it like so: this.sketch = new Sketch({ view: this.view, // something is causing the Sketch to exhibit the 'docked' behavior, even when toolbarKind is set to 'floating'. toolbarKind: 'floating', layer: this.sketchGraphicsLayer, availableCreateTools: ['point', 'polyline', 'polygon', 'circle'], visibleElements: { duplicateButton: false, selectionTools: {"lasso-selection": false, "rectangle-selection": false }, settingsMenu: false, undoRedoMenu: false }, }); Later on: this.view.ui.add(this.sketch, 'top-left'); Docked looks like: I obtained this screenshot from the sandbox to show what this would look like if we were getting what we wanted from the 'floating' setting: I've played around with toolbarKind in the sandbox and it works correctly there, so I don't think this is a bug with ESRI. Customers are complaining that they have to click an ellipsis in order to be able to see the draw options (rectangle, circle, polygon, polyline, etc.). i.e., they're seeing the docked behavior even though we're setting it to 'floating'. Any idea why we're still seeing the 'docked' behavior? Continue reading...
