I have an Angular fronted with SSR and an .NET API in the backend for data access. I've tried interceptors, adding withCredentials to the call, adding and testing things in the app.config.server.ts, main.server.ts, and server.ts. All I want is the cookies in the browser to make it to the API for Angular to retrieve the data and render the HTML back to the client. Details: In it seems to try fetching the data on the server first and when that won't work it tries it on the client side. Server side terminal: Error fetching LatestChanges : HttpErrorResponse { headers: _HttpHeaders { normalizedNames: Map(4) { 'content-length' => 'content-length', 'date' => 'date', 'server' => 'server', 'www-authenticate' => 'www-authenticate' }, lazyUpdate: null, headers: Map(4) { 'content-length' => [Array], 'date' => [Array], 'server' => [Array], 'www-authenticate' => [Array] } }, status: 401, statusText: 'Unauthorized', url: 'https://localhost:7027/api/TestResult/farmhealth-latest-changes', ok: false, name: 'HttpErrorResponse', message: 'Http failure response for https://localhost:7027/api/TestResult/farmhealth-latest-changes: 401 Unauthorized', error: null } ERROR HttpErrorResponse { headers: _HttpHeaders { normalizedNames: Map(4) { 'content-length' => 'content-length', 'date' => 'date', 'server' => 'server', 'www-authenticate' => 'www-authenticate' }, lazyUpdate: null, headers: Map(4) { 'content-length' => [Array], 'date' => [Array], 'server' => [Array], 'www-authenticate' => [Array] } }, status: 401, statusText: 'Unauthorized', url: 'https://localhost:7027/api/TestResult/farmhealth-latest-changes', ok: false, name: 'HttpErrorResponse', message: 'Http failure response for https://localhost:7027/api/TestResult/farmhealth-latest-changes: 401 Unauthorized', error: null } Then it tries again on the client side and it works: It also fetches data from an another endpoint, but I've disabled the authorization check on it. That one seems to fetch the data, render the HTML and send it to the client no problem. Has anyone ever had this problem and fixed it? Continue reading...
